What is LECOCUP?

Lecocup is the biggest student event in the Middle East. Every year several hundreds of students from all over the country, compete in one day at the same time.

By participating in this competition, your students have a new opportunity to show their talents and creativity and compete with other students. Also, top students of Iran Lecocup have the chance to be sent to compete with others in world Lecocup in one of countries that Leco has a branch.

The history of Lecocup

For the last 9 years, Leco Iran company has been setting 17 national Lecocups by creating a healthy competitive situation among students, and it has been held splendidly every year.

This competition has challenged almost 5000 students in grades 3-18 in 18 different fields.

After informing students about the result of the competition, the top 100 students of Iran Lecocup will be sent to the world Lecocup, where they compete with hundreds of other students from other countries where Leco has a branch.

Fields of Lecocup 

Over the years, students who have been trained in different fields such as Lecorobo (robotics), Lecomas (mental and abacus calculations), Lecokids (creative engineering), LecoQ (mind`s land), Lecolab (laboratory science), Lecopol (spaghetti bridge), Lecofly (aerospace), Leco3D (three-dimensional design) , Lecodomino (domino) , lecochemicar (robatics and chemistry), Lecomajic (electronic circuits), Lecosam (calculations transfer speed), Lecobio (surgery and animal dissection), creative structures etc.… Competed with each other.

In recent years, the national festival of scientific-research base creativities of Iran Lecocup, was held in person in one day simultaneously, and precious prizes were awarded to the best individuals.

Lecocup and Covid19

Last year, due to the special circumstances the 17^th Lecocup of Iran was held in a decentralized way in 20 September 2016 for 9 days.

As one of Iran Lecocup responsibilities is to maintain enthusiasm and create a healthy competitive environment among students, the way of holding competitions was supported well.

Also, preparations are made to create the satisfaction in parents, participants and representatives.

We are so proud to say that Leco Iran by considering its responsibilities, decided to hold this great national event in a decentralized and simultaneous way when many festivals and competitions were either completely canceled.

A decision that may have led to many executive challenges. but fortunately this great national event in the form of 18 workshops and competitions was held in 105 selected base across the country in the best possible way.
